Our mission is to provide financial assistance to underprivileged students for educational expenses to promote academic equity.
Grants Program
At Horizon Scholars, we provide grants to the most dedicated students who show they have financial need and are committed to their education. We know that educational expenses hinder education, and we intend to help bridge this gap.
Who Can Apply?
Our grants are open to students who show they have real financial need and a commitment to their education. All students are encouraged to apply regardless of their background.
College Admission Grants
Covers the fees associated with applying to public and private universities. *This type of grant is not always available as many colleges waive fees for low-income students*
Test Fee Grants
Assists with the fees associated with many types of standardized tests (ACT, SAT, PSAT, etc.).
Exam Score Reports
This consists of SAT QAS, ACT My Answer Key (TIR), and more.
Exam Prep Materials
This covers the materials needed to prepare for standardized tests, including practice tests and books. This grant is more restrictive and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Score Report Fees
This consists of sending ACT, SAT, or AP scores to universities/programs.
